It is well-documented that James “Whitey” Bulger was deceived by the CIA at the age of 26 to take part in their highly secretive MKUltra Project (as were thousands of others). According to the U.S. Senate Hearing dated August 3, 1977, Project MKUltra, the CIA’s Program of Research in Behavioral Modification, (see link below) the project was interested in programming some of their subjects to kill. Knowing that James Bulger, Ted Kaczynski–the Unabomber, and seemingly Charles Manson were victims of MKUltra, it appears they succeeded. https://www.intelligence.senate.gov/sites/default/files/hearings/95mkultra.pdf (pages 42-43).

Those who murdered Bulger will go virtually unpunished. They, like so many others who assisted the DOJ in his trial and incarceration, got away with murder.
Bulger had much to say about the CIA, FBI, and DOJ. He was going to do a national interview and expose what he knew. That couldn’t happen.
